The Tony Awards have announced additional presenters for the 2016 Tony Awards, which will broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 12th 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Wareham is thrilled to announce the sixth and final show in the Laguna Playhouse 2015-2016 season, Emerson Collins starring in BUYER AND CELLAR, written by Jonathan Tolins and directed by Larry Raben. BUYER AND CELLAR began previews on Wednesday, June 1; opened on Saturday, June 4 and will run through Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach. The series strives to maintain The Playhouse's goal to be "site specific" and reach the audience living in metro Atlanta. An upscale furniture boutique, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams provided a classy but comfortable setting to engage in the evening's performances on Friday, May 20.

The Edge Theater Company has announced its upcoming Summer Series at 1560 Teller Street, Suite 200, Lakewood CO 80214. Tickets are $28 for each individual show or the Summer Series Pass can be purchased for both summer shows for only $46.

Primetime Emmy(R)-winning live television producer Don Mischer will executive produce the 68TH EMMY AWARDS telecast.

Returning to the Tony Awards stage for the first time since 1970, legendary EGOT and show business icon Barbra Streisand will present at the 2016 Tony Awards. The telecast will broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, on the CBS television network, Sunday, June 12th, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Primetime Emmy®-winning live television producer Don Mischer will executive produce the “68th Emmys” telecast. It was announced today by ABC, the telecast home of this year's Emmys, and by the Television Academy. In addition, Mischer Productions' Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare are set to return as co-executive producers of the awards telecast. As previously announced, Jimmy Kimmel (host of the “64th Primetime Emmy Awards” in 2012) will return to host this year's star-studded event, live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 (7:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/4:00-8:00 p.m. PDT), on the ABC Television Network.

The fourth time was the charm for Minda Larsen, winner of the 2015 MetroStar Competition: “I have an MFA in opera,” she joked during the debut of her show, My Southern Song, at the Metropolitan Room on May 21, “So it took four tries in six years to win that competition.” The remark is typical of the self-deprecating humor of the versatile singer from Jacksonville, FL, who spent time in Georgia and went to school in South Carolina. Itching all her life to get out of the South, now she longs to get back. Her new show (a four-date run that is her award for winning the MetroStar) captures that longing with love, laughter, and an occasional tear.

Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) will soon stage a sparkling new production of FUNNY GIRL, starring Broadway's Shoshana Bean in the lead role of Fanny Brice. FUNNY GIRL starts performances on Tuesday, June 7 and plays through Sunday, June 19, 2016.
