An adventure and action-filled television special, 'Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars' is set to premiere TONIGHT, JULY 26 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The story is set a couple summers ago in a galaxy far, far away when Phineas, Ferb and the gang are in a parallel universe during Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) hosts the 41ST Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony tonight, June 22. CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless lead the pack with the most nominations. Theatre names in the mix include CABARET's Alan Cumming, Tony-winning composer and lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Broadway actress Ashley Tisdale.

On Friday, June 20th, the brightest stars of televisions below the line talent in Daytime gathered at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles to honor their own at the 41st Daytime Creative Arts EMMY Awards. Although many of the individuals associated with nominated projects may not have been household names, there were many recognizable personalities such as Ron Howard, George Lucas, Leeza Gibbons, Jack Hanna and even Cookie Monster (David Rudman). On hand to disperse awards to over 50 categories were such noted performers as Melody Thomas Scott, George Chakiris, Ashley Tisdale, Lauralee Bell and June Lockhart, who has started her 81st year as a paid actress that included her role of Maria Ramirez on General Hospital for many years.
