PITTSBURGH – On today, October 1, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform at a professional sporting event for the first time when they share Heinz Field with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the team takes on the Baltimore Ravens in a nationally televised game.

Seven-time Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner and Oscar-nominated director Mark Rydell, have been re-scheduled to guest on The Marilu Henner Show, for Thursday, Sept. 24th at 10:30 am PT, to talk about their stage performance of the comedy OXYMORONS written and directed by Brian Connors, and the screening of the short film GOOD MEN in which they also star, written and directed by Brian Connors, and produced by Neal Wilde, as a one-night benefit for The Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood, CA on October 18th.

PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra kicks off the 2015-2016 PNC Pops season with "Sinatra and Beyond with Tony DeSare, a tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes in celebration of the iconic singer's 100th birthday, on October 2-4 at Heinz Hall.

Art Garfunkel, who has one of the most distinct voices in the history of pop music, performs at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 8 pm. Tickets are $39-79.

Garfunkel & Oates will film their first hour-long special on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 7:30 PM and 10 PM at The Neptune.

Mercury closes out the 2014-15 season with an all-Beethoven concert led by Artistic Director Antoine Plante featuring the composer's beloved Eighth Symphony and Triple Concerto on Friday, May 16 at 8 PM at the Wortham Center's Cullen Theater.  The rarely heard Triple Concerto will feature Mercury concertmaster Jonathan Godfrey, principal cellist Kevin Downs and guest pianist, Wendy Chen, playing on an 1832 Bosendorfer 80-key fortepiano, on loan from the Moores School of Music.  The Eighth Symphony is the penultimate performance in Mercury's cycle of Beethoven symphonies, which started in 2009 and will conclude next May in Mercury's 15th Anniversary Season finale with Symphony No. 9, "Choral".  This concert is sponsored in part by Haynes and Boone with underwriting support from Hans and Lili Kirchner, Vey and Brigid Spin, and Stephen and Kristine Wallace.  Tickets start at $18, to purchase or for more information visit www.mercuryhouston.org or call 713.533.0080.

?The Philly POPS' Music Director Michael Krajewski is internationally known as a masterful maestro. What his audience members may not know is that he is also an accomplished travel photographer who has turned his hobby into a skill that is worthy of attention. During its April concert series, The Philly POPS will display his portfolio for public viewing in a POP-up travel photography exhibit entitled, 'On the Road: Photos by Philly POPS' Music Director Michael Krajewski' in Commonwealth Plaza at The Kimmel Center.
