The 2018 MTV 'VMAs' aired live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT across MTV's global network of channels in more than 180 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.

In celebration, the official music video directed by Hannah Lux David arrives today  which marks her most recent music video directed for David following “Hey Mama” ft. Nicki Minaj which has amassed 1 billion views – among her music videos for Ariana Grande, Halsey, Demi Lovato, and Lil Wayne.

Rising pop group Why Don't We has unveiled the official music video for “8 Letters,” the title track off of their highly anticipated, debut full length album.  The cinematic clip can be viewed at Why Don't We's YouTube channel, which boasts over 2 million subscribers and counting.   8 LETTERS is available for pre-order now and will arrive at all digital music retailers and streaming services on August 31st via Atlantic Records.

On September 13, Pandora (NYSE:P), the largest streaming music provider in the U.S., will host a live celebration with top Pop music talent in the heart of Los Angeles. Pandora Presents: Pop Coast Hits will feature performances by GRAMMY award winner Meghan Trainor, record-breaking singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha, breakout group Why Don't We, and a special performance by Madison Beer. The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, passed away today, August 16, in her Detroit home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, according to the Associated Press. She was 76 years old.

Shoshana Bean, the Broadway veteran and very first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked, brings her powerhouse vocals to The Space. Bean will perform two concerts on Oct. 25 and 26 at the performance venue just west of the Las Vegas Strip that's known for intimate and unexpected experiences. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 17.

Songstress Ariana Grande was the latest guest on James Corden's well-loved Carpool Karaoke series. The singer teamed up with Corden for duets on some of her hits, and then concluded with the Broadway favorite Suddenly Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors. Grande even noted that Audrey is her 'dream role.'

MTV today announced the Backstreet Boys, Bazzi and Bryce Vine, the newest artist to join The Sound Drop by PEPSI®, will perform live from the VMAs red carpet Pre-Show outside of Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.  Actor and host Terrence J., together with radio and TV personality Nessa, will host alongside Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino from “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”  Additionally, supermodel and activist, Winnie Harlow will serve as the red carpet fashion correspondent.  To give fans an earlier start to the night, MTV will begin live streaming red carpet coverage at 7:30 p.m. on Twitter hosted by Justina Valentine from “Wild 'N Out” and Erik Zachary.

Nicki Minaj released her fourth studio album, Queen, today, one week earlier than the August 17th release date she had previously announced. 

MTV today announced global superstar Nicki Minaj will return to the 'VMAs' in a special performance, presented by PEPSI(R), from an iconic location in New York. This will mark Minaj's debut performance after the release of her highly anticipated album, 'Queen.' It will also be the first time a major awards show will televise a performance from the surprise location.
