I AM BARBIE Comes to Catskill This Month

Piggybacking on the phenomenal success of Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster BARBIE film, Bridge Street Theatre is proud to present the East Coast premiere of Texas playwright Walton Beacham’s “I Am Barbie” from August 31st through September 10th on the theatre’s intimate “Priscilla” Mainstage, located at 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, NY.

The Hillsborough Community College Theater Department and LAB Theater Project are proud to co-present the new stage show, Zombie Beach: The Musical, with a book by Tampa Bay native John Cecil, and music and lyrics by Cecil and Laura Rebel-Angel.  Set in the 1960s, this show brings together beach movies, rock & roll, and zombies, in a story about the love of the living and the hunger of the dead.

Broadway's newest intimate concert venue – has announced the solo debut of Mykal Kilgore, the celebrated vocalist from The Wiz Live! on NBC TV, Postmodern Jukebox, Motown on Broadway and more, for a two night concert engagement Friday, March 9 at 9:30 PM and Saturday, March 10 at 7:00 PM. These shows will feature original music from Mykal's upcoming album and covers of some of music's most heralded pop favorites with a Kilgore twist. After performances for “The View,” the Mayor of New York, and Brooklyn Nets, these live intimate shows powerfully return Kilgore to the concert stage.

'Teen Angel' Frankie Avalon Comes To Kean University

"Teen Angel" Frankie Avalon will perform two shows, at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m, at Kean University's Enlow Recital Hall in Hillside, N.J., on Saturday, February 3. Avalon has been on the music scene since he scored his first hit single, Dede Dinah, in 1958. He followed that up the next year with Venus, which spent five weeks at #1 on the Billboard chart and became his signature song.
