Hathaway Speaks on Shakespeare and Ibsen Ambitions

In an interview with musicrooms.net out today, Anne Hathaway reveals that her next career aspirations include tackling Shakespeare and Ibsen on stage, in addition to kicking some butt on screen. She says: 'Most of the roles I'd love to play are in the theatre...Most of Shakespeare and pretty much all of Ibsen...In terms of my career, I would like to kill an alien at some point. I would like to drive a spaceship and maybe be a spy. I'd like to kick a little a*s.'

As BroadwayWorld speculated earlier today, James Franco and Anne Hathaway will officially serve as co-hosts of the 83rd Academy Awards®, Oscar telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today. Both have previously appeared on the telecast but not in hosting capacities.

Stage and screen actress Anne Hathaway might star in an episode of GLEE; that is, if the producers of the hit-show agree to her story idea. Hathaway revealed her well-thought out plans on the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, November 18, confessing that 'in my head I've cast myself in GLEE and I know which song I'd sing.'
