The SHOP-SHMOOZE-LAUGH event benefited the fair-trade jewelry initiative of SAME SKY (founder Francine LeFrak), an organization that offers employment to women living with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The Broadway Association presented legendary Broadway Producer Daryl Roth with the Visionary Leader Award and New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Stand Up for a Cure 2013 Concert Series announced today that comedy icon Jerry Seinfeld will be joined by guests Colin Quinn and TV anchor Rosanna Scotto to kick off the new season, with a show at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on April 17th. The show will partner with The American Diabetes Association to benefit research into juvenile diabetes.
