The American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards ceremony is the most glamorous night of the Broadway season - and this year will be no exception. Dozens of stage and screen stars will join Emmy Award-winning host Neil Patrick Harris on CBS on June 9 to perform and make appearances on this year's telecast, and to salute excellence in Broadway theatre. Added to the list of presenters is Zachary Quinto, Anna Kendrick, and Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Trevor Project presented its annual benefit event, 'Trevor Live'. Broadway favorite Kristin Chenoweth was there for the festivities, where she performed 'For Good' with 'Pitch Perfect' star Anna Kendrick. Check out their performance below!

TEEN CHOICE 2013 will once again break into summer and celebrate the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing live Sunday, August 11 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" leads the TEEN CHOICE 2013 nominees with seven nominations.

The second season of Comedy Bang! Bang! kicks off on Friday, July 12 at 10PM ET/PT with 20 all new episodes and a robust line-up of famous faces. The first ten episodes will air from July 12 - September 13, followed by a short fall hiatus before picking back up on Friday, October 18 for ten more episodes. Host Scott Aukerman (co-creator/director/producer, Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis; writer/performer, Mr. Show) and musical cohort Reggie Watts (Conan, Reggie Watts: A Live At Central Park, Jash.com) both return to Comedy Bang! Bang! with their clever take on the well-known format of a late night talk show.

In May, it was announced that Ghostlight Records will preserve the hit Second Stage Theatre production of The Last Five Years, created and directed by Jason Robert Brown. Second Stage Theatre has extended this production starring Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe three times. The Last Five Years is performed at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street) through today, May 18, 2013. The National Symphony Orchestra Pops will present three performances of The Wizard and I: The Musical Journey of Stephen Schwartz May 16-18 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Led by Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke, the performances feature performances by Jeremy Jordan, Norm Lewis, Julia Murney, Jennifer Laura Thompson, and The Washington Chorus. The performances celebrate Stephen Schwartz's 65th birthday as well as the 10th anniversary of the perennially 'popular' Wicked, and Mr. Schwartz will make a special appearance in each of the three programs, performing and sharing stories of the creation of Wicked.

Moderated by Film Comment contributor Phillip Lopate, the evening will be free to the public and will include a selection of clips and questions from the audience.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry's premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P's Digital Single Award certification.

According to the Daily Mail, James Corden has signed on to appear alongside Daniel Mays in Nick Payne's play The Same Deep Water As Me at the Donmar Warehouse, directed by John Crawley. Corden also recently met with Into the Woods film director Rob Marshall to discuss appearing in the movie adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical. If the dates for both projects do not conflict, Corden will take part in the pair.

According to a recent casting notice, Rob Marshall's film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's classic musical is set to begin shooting this September in the U.K.

As BroadwayWorld.com previously reported, Meryl Streep will play the witch in the upcoming big screen adaptation of INTO THE WOODS. Now according to Variety, Johnny Depp is currently in talks to join the cast as well. There is no word yet on which part Depp would play.
