Theaterlab, in association with Lawryn LaCroix, is thrilled to announce that three additional performances (Jan 22 at 3pm, Jan 23 at 7pm, Jan 26 at 8pm) have been added to the limited engagement of Rita Kalnejais' This Beautiful Future, which must close on January 30.

Theaterlab, in association with Lawryn LaCroix, has announced that Tony nominee Austin Pendleton will join the cast of the U.S. premiere of This Beautiful Future by Rita Kalnejais. Pendleton replaces the previously announced Bill Buell who has withdrawn from the production.

Theaterlab and Lawryn LaCroix are presenting the U.S. premiere of This Beautiful Future by Rita Kalnejais, which marks the playwright’s New York debut. Directed by Jack Serio, This Beautiful Future is a story of young love set during World War II and features Francesca Carpanini, and Justin Mark with Bill Buell and Angelina Fiordellisi.

The Cherry Lane Theatre, in New York City’s Greenwich Village, is back on the market after a previous deal fell through.

Cherry Lane Theatre, the oldest continuously running Off-Broadway theatre in New York City, has a new owner, it has been announced by Angelina Fiordellisi, the theatre’s Executive Director since having acquired the building in 1996.  Cherry Lane is located at 38 Commerce Street in Greenwich Village.

Starting Thursday, June 17, the popular hit JACQUELINE NOVAK: GET ON YOUR KNEES, will return for a limited engagement through July 3 on the mainstage at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.)

Produced by Penguin Rep, THE SABBATH GIRL begins performances on Tuesday, February 11 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 8. Press opening is Sunday, February 16 at 2:15 pm. Atlantic Theater Company announces a one week extension for the world premiere production of Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven by Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis (Between Riverside and Crazy), directed by Obie Award winner John Ortiz, and co-produced with LAByrinth Theater Company. The critically acclaimed production, which opened on Monday, December 9th will now play through Sunday, January 5th, 2020 Off-Broadway at Atlantic's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

To celebrate the Mentor Project's 22nd Season, Cherry Lane Theatre (Angelina Fiordellisi, Executive Director; Seri Lawrence, Artistic Director) has announced a workshop presentation by poet/ performer Shawn Randall of his original work (The Making Of) How to Save the World in 90 Minutes. He will be mentored by Diana Oh ({my lingerie play}) in the StudioTheatre, March 4 -14, 2020. Cherry Lane then continues its season in partnership with J.A.G. Productions for the rolling World Premiere of Esai's Table by Nathan Yungerberg, originally produced in workshop format by Mentor Project in 2017.
