Shrewd Productions has a reputation for producing amazing theatre and their return to the stage after the pandemic is no different. SMALL STEPS is touching, engaging, funny, and surprising.

Shrewd Productions will present the first World Premiere of local playwright, Briandaniel Oglesby, with its production of SMALL STEPS at Hyde Park Theatre.

The City of Fairfax Theatre Company is bringing the musical version of the beloved animated movie, Shrek, to Katherine Johnson Middle School's 350-seat theater this July.  

Tall Stories' Olivier Award-nominated adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's classic picture book, directed by Olivia Jacobs, will fly into the West End this summer to enchant everyone aged 3 and upwards. Jump on board the broom with the witch and her cat in this fun-filled magical musical adaptation running at Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue from 21 July to 4 September. 

What the Ladybird Heard was first brought to the West End in 2017, marking a theatrical perch for the hugely popular sequence of picture books created by the writer Julia Donaldson and the illustrator Lydia Monks. The stage adaptation is back on the West End this summer to be followed by a UK tour, with Monks once more on board as design consultant. The bestselling illustrator discusses what it has been like to bring her creations to three-dimensional life.

Recently awarded the prestigious British Book Award – Children's Book of the Year (Illustrated and Non-fiction), this joyous story of two star-crossed aliens on a far-off planet is being developed and previewed at Tall Stories' new studio space at Central Library, Islington before receiving its world premiere at the ROSE THEATRE in Kingston-upon-Thames, from 27 to 31 October 2021.

Under Haydon's stewardship, the Rose's own work will be the priority, as demonstrated by the five Rose Originals in this upcoming season, but there will always be room on the theatre's stage for the country's leading touring shows as well.  This season's Rose Originals are a blend of new plays tackling significant contemporary issues and well-known titles reinvented for today.

Internationally acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories brings its celebrated production of 'The Gruffalo' to the beautiful Alexandra Palace Theatre for a limited summer season from 30 July - 29 August 2021.

City of Fairfax Theatre Company's tenth season continues in July 2019 with the production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, co-produced by Truro Anglican Church. The production will open July 19 and run through July 27 at Lanier Middle School.

Along the way, she finds true love, equality and the chance to be accepted for who she really is. Hairspray runs October 19-November 10, 2018 at Reston Community Center.

Tall Stories returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year with two Oscar Wilde adaptations, including the World Premiere of 'THE CANTERVILLE GHOST' and the Edinburgh premiere of 'WILDE CREATURES'. The shows play in rep at Pleasance Courtyard from 1-26 August 2018.

One little ladybird will be embarking on a big adventure this Easter as Kenny Wax Family bring their colourful new production of What the Ladybird Heard to the Belgrade Theatre.
