The Off-Broadway production of The Long Shrift, written by Robert Boswell and directed by James Franco, opened last night at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. The Long Shirt began previews on July 7th and will run through August 23rd. This play is James Franco's directing debut. The official opening night is set for July 13th, 2014 and closing night is August 23rd, 2014.

Second Stage Theatre will continue its 35th Anniversary Season by offering its popular $19.79 retro prices (the year in which the Company was founded) for the first week of previews of its upcoming production, Laura Eason's SEX WITH STRANGERS, directed by David Schwimmer and starring Anna Gunn and Billy Magnussen. 35 tickets will be available for all performances July 8th - 13th at this special price and will go on sale June 11 at 12:00pm. The production is scheduled to run through June 29.
