There’s more than a whiff of familiarity down at London’s Waterloo at the moment; Olivier award-winning Groundhog Day is back at the Old Vic and so is Andy Karl, playing the sneering weatherman Phil Connors. We loved it, Broadway didn't, but this revival is a veritable theatrical triumph and a heartwarming treat for anyone lucky enough to get a ticket.

The Old Vic has revealed the full creative team and cast for the award-winning musical, Groundhog Day, which returns to London following its world premiere in 2016.

A revival of Bruce Norris’s biting satire Clybourne Park still feels relevant today to questions of racial tension and gentrification. 

Winner of both the Tony and Olivier Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for author Bruce Norris, Clybourne Park is a razor-sharp satire about the politics of race and real estate. The play returns to London following sell out runs at The Royal Court and in the West End.

London is never short of temptations, whether epic West End shows, engrossing dramas or bold fringe offerings. Having had to shut down the production of Bruce Norris' seminal play Clybourne Park at final dress rehearsal in March 2020, Trish Wadley Productions and David Adkin, in association with Park Theatre, have announced that the production, originally planned for the play's 10th anniversary year, will open at the venue in March.

The Old Vic’s A Christmas Carol returns with a live audience on 24 November, with previews from 13 November. 

The creators of Wilf Goes Wild, an animated musical for KS1 students, have released a series of educational resources enhancing the pilot episode in response to the recent closure of schools across the UK.

'Wilf Goes Wild' is a new digital interactive musical for primary-school aged children written by Sarah Middleton, with music from Grammy nominated musician Josh Sneesby.

Casting announced for the world premiere of new digital musical Shift+Alt+Right written and composed by Hilmi Jaidin and directed by Adam Lenson.
