Jeffrey Kuhn Joins the Cast of SILENCE! This Friday

Beginning this Friday, January 25th, Jeffrey Kuhn will assume the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter's nemesis, Dr. Chilton, in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. As a result, the producers determined that the smash hit show would reopen on January 19th. After opening at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre which was constructed especially for the show.

Producers Broadway Across America - Beth Williams, Howard & Janet Kagan and Barry Brown just announced casting for the world premiere production of the new musical TUCK EVERLASTING at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) from July 28-August 18, 2013. The pre-Broadway production will feature (in alphabetical order): Fred Applegate (Sister Act) as 'Constable Joe,' Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers) as 'Nana,' Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Scandalous) as 'Ma Tuck,' David Garrison (Titanic) as 'The Man In The Yellow Suit,' Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) as 'Jesse Tuck,' Daytime Emmy Award Winner Michael Park (How To Succeed…) as 'Pa Tuck,' Michael Wartella (The Kid) as 'Hugo,' and Valerie Wright (Elf) as 'Mother,' and will introduce Sadie Sink in the role of 'Winnie.'

Following the announcement that SILENCE! The Musical would be ending its long run on December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records for the show so far. As a result, the producers determined that performances of the smash hit show will resume after a brief hiatus today, January 19th, at the Elektra Theatre, 669 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.).

Due to popular demand, SILENCE! The Musical will resume performances tomorrow, January 19th at the Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run December 30th, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records for the show so far. As a result, the producers determined that the smash hit show will reopen on January 19th. Originally announced as a strictly limited engagement through August 13, 2011, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre, which was constructed especially for the show. SILENCE! opened at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews and spawned a highly successful L.A. production starring Davis Gaines and Christine Lakin.

'The View's Sherri Shepherd Makes Appearance in NEWSIES

The View's Sherri Shepherd recently fulfilled her lifelong dream when she made her Broadway debut in the SMASH hit, Tony Award winning musical, NEWSIES. Oscar and Tony Award-winning composer Alan Menken, director Jeff Calhoun and producer Thomas Schumacher will join Kara Lindsay, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Mike Faist, stars of the Tony award-winning Broadway musical, Newsies, for a special presentation to 4,000 students and teachers representing 82 groups from 23 states at the 2013 Junior Theater Festival, it was announced today by Theater of the Stars President Nick Manos and Timothy Allen McDonald, founding Chairman of iTheatrics. The Junior Theater Festival is being held January 18, 19 and 20 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta.
