Broadw.ai, the leading AI platform solution for Broadway shows, announced today that The Phantom of the Opera has launched a new skill for Amazon Alexa, providing fans a new, voice-forward way to engage with the Broadway production. For the first time, through an integration with Amazon Pay and Telecharge, customers can search for and purchase tickets entirely by voice.

On Wednesday, October 16, Meghan Picerno, who previously thrilled audiences worldwide as Christine Daaé in the new World Tour of The Phantom of the Opera, will make her Broadway debut as Christine.  Kaley Ann Voorhees' final performance will be Sunday evening, October 13 at 7PM.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, welcomes two Broadway favorites today, September 11- John Riddle (Frozen, The Visit) and Bradley Dean (Dear Evan Hansen, A Little Night Music, Spamalot). They will assume the roles of Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny and Monsieur André, respectively.

One of the most successful stage productions of all-time, the New York production is celebrating a milestone 30 Years - an unprecedented feat achieved by no other Broadway show. The New York production has played over 12,500 performances to more than 18.5 million people at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street).

Andrew Lloyd Webber announced today that the original West EndBroadway staging of the hit musical will make a return to the world stage in a new tour set to launch this February. No details yet on tour dates and cities have been announced.

Beginning Monday evening, April 30, Broadway's Jay Armstrong Johnson will make his PHANTOM debut, assuming the role of Raoul, the dashing vicomte vying for the heart of the innocent soprano, Christine.
