'Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief,' today announced its lineup of superstar musical performances. The global telethon will feature performances by Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Sting in New York City; Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and a group performance by Keith Urban, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow in Los Angeles; and Coldplay, and a group performance by Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, and Rihanna in a newly added London location. All musical performances will be available for purchase for $.99 per song through the Apple iTunes Store beginning Saturday, January 23, with all proceeds benefiting Haiti relief funds managed by 'Hope for Haiti Now' charities.
11 Broadcast and Cable Networks to Air ‘Hope for Haiti’ Telethon, 1/22

Eleven major broadcast and cable networks will air the 'Hope for Haiti' telethon, next Friday, January 22nd the New York Times is reporting. At 8:00pm EST, ABC, BET, CBS, CMT, CNN, CW, FOX, HBO, MTV, NBC and VH1, as well as MTV Networks International, CNN International and National Geographic channels will air the telethon in an effort to raise money for the nation of Haiti, which was recently hit with an earthquake that destroyed much of the country and its capital city, Port-au-Prince.

The 41st NAACP Image Awards nominees were announced today during a press conference at The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. Taye Diggs ('Private Practice' - ABC), Michael Strahan ('Brothers' - FOX) and 'FOX NFL Sunday'), Wanda Sykes ('The Wanda Sykes Show' - FOX), Kyle Massey ('That's SRaven,' 'Cory in the House' - Disney Channel), Chris Massey ('Zoey 101' - Nickelodeon)
and Tatyana Ali (Young and the Restless - CBS) joined NAACP Image Awards Committee Chair, Clayola Brown, and Vicangelo Bulluck, Executive Producer of the telecast, to announce the categories and nominees. The 41st NAACP Image Awards will air live on Friday, February 26 (8:00 - 10:00 PM ET/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX.
