Ahead of tonight's Betty White tribute special, NBC has shared a first look at Cher singing 'Thank You For Being a Friend,' the theme song from the Golden Girls. The special will also feature President Joe Biden, Drew Barrymore, Bryan Cranston, Ted Danson, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Goldie Hawn, and more.

President Joe Biden, Drew Barrymore, Valerie Bertinelli, Cher, Bryan Cranston, Ted Danson, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Goldie Hawn, Vicki Lawrence, Jane Leeves, Jay Leno, Anthony Mackie, Wendie Malick, Joel McHale, Tracy Morgan, Jean Smart, Mary Steenburgen and more will come together to pay tribute to the late actress.

The series features Broadway stars Eden Espinosa (Wicked) as Rosa's Mother, Ali Stroker (Oklahoma!) as Daisy, Melissa van der Schyff (Bonnie and Clyde) as Jojo, James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin) as Oliver, Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton) as Mother Rose, Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress) as Thistle, & George Salazar (Be More Chill) as Dad Hatter.

In its continuing efforts to make LGBTQ-themed films more readily available to audiences, PrideArts has announced titles for five weekly engagements of LGBTQ feature films to be streamed for eight days each, from December 26, 2021, through January 31, 2022. Audible just announced a new original series perfect for family listening: Cinnamon Bear: A Holiday Adventure, performed by star-studded cast with original musical numbers. The original Cinnamon Bear radio series debuted in 1937 as a cliffhanger-style children’s radio show that featured daily episodes during the holiday season!

After two years of producing the Waa-Mu Show virtually, the co-chairs of Northwestern University's 91st Annual Waa-Mu Show have announced the show will move back to Cahn Auditorium, 600 Emerson St., on the Evanston campus.

Disney World has announced its lineup of celebrity narrators for its annual holiday Candlelight Processional. 

A tribute to adolescent angst and nerd revenge fantasies, MEAN GIRLS is a satisfying, hilarious musical adaptation of Tina Fey's 2004 comedy. It's an entertaining (if guilty) pleasure propelled by superb video design, skilled comedians all over the stage, and its fun (if disposable) score. The hit musical has resumed its National Tour, re-premiering in Tempe's Gammage Auditorium and the energy in the theatre is palpable. The performers are clearly bursting to perform and the audience is eager to watch.

The New York Youth Symphony Musical Theater Songwriting Program (NYYS) and Director Anna K. Jacobs have announced the 2021/2022 Season. Heading into its fourth season the NYYS Musical Theater Songwriting program is specially designed to lead students through a range of musical theater songwriting processes.

People calling in were not only giving $5, $10, $100, they were telling stories to volunteers about the son they lost to AIDS, or their own cancer battle, or their friend who has survived because of Project Angel Food.
