Broadway favorite Brent Barrett and Jenn Harris are set to head the cast of SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction and choreography by Christopher Gattelli.

Broadway Rhythm and Booze, a cabaret series created as a platform to highlight the soulful talents of the Broadway community, will take place on Monday, June 20th at Tillman's Bar & Lounge, 165 West 26th Street (between 6th and 7th avenue), doors open at 7pm, performance begins at 8pm. Broadway's Brent Barrett, most recently seen in CHICAGO will play the lead role of Hannibal Lecter in the new Off Broadway production of the spoof hit, Silence! reports Variety today. Jenn Harris will play the role of detective Clarice Starling in the parody of the hit 1991 thriller, 'The Silence of the Lambs.' The paper also reports that Stephen Bienskie, Deidre Goodwin, Jeff Hiller, Harry Bouvy, Howard Kaye and Alysha Umphress will be in the cast as well.

The producers of the critically acclaimed AMERICAN IDIOT previously announced that Green Day frontman and the musical's composer and co-author Billie Joe Armstrong would return to the role of "St. Jimmy" on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 for the final three weeks of the Broadway production at the St. James Theatre, 246 West 44 Street. Following 421 performances on Broadway and 27 previews, the final show is Sunday, April 24, 2011 at 7:30pm. The first national tour launches in the fall of 2011.
