The upcoming Los Angeles reading of SOME MEN will inlude performances by Matt Gould, David Alan Grier, Justin Kirk and Jeffrey Tambor. As reported previously, Alan Cumming, John Glover, Luke MacFarlane, and Jason Ritter are also set for the production.

Werc Werk Works, the independent production and finance company helmed by CEO Elizabeth Redleaf, and Likely Story, the New York based production company headed by Anthony Bregman, jointly announced today that they will produce DARLING COMPANION, written by Meg Kasdan and Lawrence Kasdan and to be directed by Lawrence Kasdan.

IMBD news is reporting that Hairspray 2, a sequel to the 2007 Hairspray film starring Nikki Blonsky, Zac Efron, John Travolta and Michelle Pfieffer, has been canned.
