 Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has announced casting for the world premiere of You Are Here, a free public sculpture, sound, and live performance installation conceived by Andrea Miller, award-winning choreographer and artistic director of movement-based production company GALLIM.

This summer, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (PCTF), the brainchild of arts professional Glory Kadigan, turns 10 years old. In that decade, PCTF has successfully changed the landscape of the theatre festival and all of New York independent theatre. The multi-award-winning theatre festival will celebrate in a big way by premiering more than 50 timely and topical plays and musicals written by the next generation of playwrights. Each play contains a powerful message serving as a parable of various world themes.

In this World Premiere of I Am Salome, award-winning director Alexandra Siladi pieces together a unique version of the classic titular character based on the innovative work of American author/playwright Charles Mee. With a troupe of six actors portraying the iconic and dangerous female temptress, Salome - the original femme fatale - Siladi creates a theatrical collage that depicts myriad Salomes found throughout history. This provocative interpretation explores from a female perspective why sex is perpetually and inextricably linked to danger.

Presented by Black Lodge Theater, the work will be staged in the old boiler room of the iconic Westbeth Center for the Arts.

THE MIRACLE PLAY follows a young woman, played by Remy Bennett (The Wolf of Wall Street), through her fall from grace, her struggle with the morbid nature of celebrity, and her journey to find peace.

The Dirty Blondes announce their second 24-hour play festival, SIN IN THE CITY on February 10, 2013 at the renowned Galapagos Art Space. The Brooklyn-based collective will bring together a group of playwrights, directors, and actors to conceive, write, and perform seven short plays over the course of 24-hours. The culminating performance will feature seven original 10-minute plays centered on each of the 'seven deadly sins' and set in modern day New York City. Founding members, Ashley Jacobson & Alexandra Siladi will team up to create interludes performed throughout the night. Music, drinks and dancing to follow immediately.
