The musical theater masterpiece My Fair Lady, with music by Frederick Loewe and book/lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, kicks off the 2015 Music Circus season at Wells Fargo Pavilion, the 65th season for the venerable Sacramento institution. Performances are Tuesday, June 9 through Sunday, June 14, kicking off the season two weeks earlier than usual. The stellar cast includes a number of Broadway veterans and Music Circus audience favorites.

In honor of this week's buzz about Colin Firth headlining a Broadway revival, we turn our attention to Golden Age classic MY FAIR LADY.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held earlier today, May 27th in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. Hosted by HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Darren Criss, Broadway's best turned out for the annual performance - including GIGI's Corey Cott, who performed the show's title number- check it out below!

Reports of an upcoming Broadway revival of MY FAIR LADY from James Nederlander Sr continue to surface and according to Page Six of the New York Post, the lead role has already been cast.

The Muny announced today the complete cast for its production of Alan Jay Lerner (book & lyrics) and Frederick Loewe's (music) classic My Fair Lady. The production will be directed by Marc Bruni, choreographed by Chris Bailey and music directed by Ben Whiteley.

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra will begin its summer series at Riverbend Music Center's Corbett Pavilion on Saturday, June 6 at 8 p.m. with a special 'Broadway Sing-Along' featuring classic Broadway hits and inviting the audience to sing along.

DMI Soundtracks has announced the immediate availability on iTunes of the New Broadway Cast Recording for Gigi, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning musical comedy.  The recording was produced and engineered by six-time Grammy Award winner Frank Filipetti.  The CD is slated for release in June.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will open its 47th consecutive summer season with the Broadway favorite, Guys and Dolls, from June 11-21, 2015 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452). Set in Damon Runyon's jubilant, shimmering New York City, this Tony Award-winning musical about gangsters, showgirls, and mission workers stars Olivier Award nominee Brent Barrett as Sky Masterson (Broadway's Chicago, PBS's Kiss Me, Kate) and opera singer Mara Bonde as Sarah Brown (The Boston Pops). Broadway veteran David Hugo (LES MISERABLES) returns to direct Frank Loesser's romantic comedy that demonstrates the great lengths to which a guy will go when he truly falls in love with a 'doll.' The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts will welcome the national tour of Lerner & Loewe's Camelot to the Saint Paul stage tonight, May 12-17.
