Lincoln Center Theater has announced the first two productions of its 2015-2016 season: DADA WOOF PAPA HOT, a new play by Peter Parnell, to be directed by Scott Ellis, beginning performances Thursday, October 15 and opening Monday, November 9 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater; and the LCT3 world premiere production of KILL FLOOR, a new play by Abe Koogler, to be directed by Lila Neugebauer, which will begin performances Saturday, October 3, open on Monday, October 19, and run through Sunday, November 15 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

On April 21, 2015, Improv Wars will finish the 2014/2015 season with Improv Wars: The Spring Invasion featuring Columbus' finest improv groups competing for audience laughs. This is the finale ?of a successful season of the “One Night Stand”, “The Fall Attack”, “The Holiday Showcase”, and “The Blizzard Blitz”. As with previous Improv Wars the event will be held at Studio 35, 3055 Indianola Ave., Columbus, OH 43202. The series will begin again in August, 2015.

Park Square continues its 40th season this month with Steven Dietz's wistful comedy, SHOOTING STAR. Dietz, author of Becky's New Car, produced by Park Square in 2009, is one of America's most produced playwrights, and with SHOOTING STAR he gives us a moving new twist on the one that got away.
