In her most daring and revealing project to date, five-time Grammy nominee, Tierney Sutton, pays homage to the revered pop singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell in After Blue: The Joni Mitchell Project. Sutton puts her unique stamp on Joni Mitchell tunes going back to "Both Sides Now" and "Big Yellow Taxi" to more recent numbers like "The Dry Cleaner from Des Moines," "Be Cool," and "Don't Go to Strangers." Collaborating with Tierney this evening is Mark Summer on cello and Serge Merlaud on guitar.

Well-known for his versatility and professionalism, he is one of the few percussionists equally comfortable in a multitude of styles, from R & B to rock and pop to bebop, Latin to Brazilian, and New Age.

Regina Carter and Nnenna Freelon will replace the previously announced Tony and Grammy winner Dee Dee Bridgewater in today's December 14, 2013 concert celebrating the 90th birthdays of Dinah Washington and Sarah Vaughan. The Royal Conservatory congratulates Ms. Bridgewater on her role in the upcoming off-Broadway production of Lady Day, in which she will portray legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday. The production begins September 12, which is the reason Ms. Bridgewater had to cancel her Conservatory appearance in December.

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter will make her New York Philharmonic debut in Mary Chapin Carpenter with the New York Philharmonic and Special Guests, a retrospective program featuring songs from throughout her career, some newly arranged for orchestra.

Award winning artist Tricia Greenwood, who released her first album 'No Fear in Love' in 2003, has released her latest album 'Eclectic Emotions' a five song compilation through Sugo Music Group that includes the classic cover song, 'Fever' featuring bass player, Bob Gonzales, hailing from the band The Syndicate of Sound.
