New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its award-winning New Works Series on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021 at 7PM EST, featuring excerpts from the new musicals Other World and Goodbye New York. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers. 

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced that Afterwords, a new musical with a book by Emily Kaczmarek and music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak, is the second of three Musical Radio Plays it will produce in its 2020/21 digital season.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced final casting for the world premiere production of the new musical-comedy adventure, 'Other World.' The musical, which celebrates the ability to find heroes in unexpected places, begins performances at the Playhouse on March 13 and run through April 11 with an official opening night on March 28.

On Monday, January 27th, producer Jonathan Demar (Hadestown) presented an industry reading of Before This New Year, a new play by Liana Sonenclar. This is the 23-year-old playwright's industry debut. The cast was led by Natalia Dyer, best known for her role as Nancy in Netflix's award-winning television series, Stranger Things. The reading was directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Eureka Day), recipient of the 2018 Lucille Lortel Visionary Director Award.

The Bucks County Playhouse is one of the most historic theaters in the country. Spector's lauded play uses a heated vaccination debate at a progressive elementary school as a metaphorical lens for the escalating hostility of America's culture wars and our inability to listen to those with whom we disagree. This timely comedy is directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Primary Stages' Downstairs, Colt Coeur's Joan). Previews begin Saturday, August 24th with official opening set for Thursday, August 29th.
