After a run at the First Look Repertory of New Work at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, Sam Marks' dark examination of marriage comes to The Flea. Tickets go on sale today (Monday, March 30) for playwright Annie Baker's 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, The Flick. The production returns to Off-Broadway in May, directed once again by Sam Gold and featuring Alex Hanna, Louisa Krause, Matthew Maher, and Aaron Clifton Moten, reprising their acclaimed performances. Previews begin Tuesday, May 5 for a 16-week limited engagement through Sunday, August 30. Opening night is Thursday, May 28 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street, corner of Seventh Avenue). MCC THEATER has announced the final production of its four-show 2015-16 Main Stage Season, which runs August 2015 through June 2016. Playwright Halley Feiffer (I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard) will make her MCC Theater debut with her play A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. Trip Cullman returns to direct after helming this season's critically acclaimed hit Punk Rock. Full details below.
