Actors' Playhouse presents the comedic new adventure Becky's New Car by Steven Dietz, from May 9 - June 3, 2012 at the Miracle Theatre. This fresh, delightful and devious regional premiere play is about life, love, marriage, and the detours we make on our way to happiness.

When their daughter Alice, decides to invite her conservative boyfriend's family to dinner, they promise to be on their best behavior. However...! Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and adapted into an Academy Award winning film, this beloved comedy has been a perennial favorite to theatre-goers for more than 70 years.

Icicle Creek Center for the Arts today announced two new plays that will be presented in August 2012 as part of its renowned program, the Icicle Creek Theatre Festival (ICTF).

David Mirvish presents an explosive new musical comedy in Toronto, opening tonight. Bring It On: The Musical will play for a strictly limited engagement tonight, May 2 through June 3, 2012 at the Canon Theatre. The production is the final show of the 2011-12 Mirvish Subscription Season.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, led by Staff Conductor Jere Flint, will join forces with the Alliance Theatre to perform a semi-staged production of "The Remarkable Farkle McBride" tonight, April 29, 2012, at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.

The new Broadway musical, COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and by special arrangement with the Frank Sinatra Family and Frank Sinatra Enterprises, is coming to PlayhouseSquare for a limited engagement May 8 -20 as a part of the KeyBank Broadway Series.

Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's only professional theater company, will wrap up its 2011-2012 season with Slippery as Sin, running from May 17 to June 3. David Lee White's comic thriller will be directed by Adam Immerwahr - the same team that delivered the 2010 smash hit, Blood: A Comedy.

The Kennedy Center presents Come Fly Away in the Eisenhower Theater from April 18-29, 2012. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award® winner and Kennedy Center Honoree Twyla Tharp (Movin' Out) and by special arrangement with the Frank Sinatra Family and Frank Sinatra Enterprises, Come Fly Away blends the legendary vocals of Frank Sinatra with a live on-stage big band and 14 of the world's finest dancers. The show's score combines classic and newly discovered vocal performances from the Sinatra archives, along with Sinatra's signature arrangements by Nelson Riddle, Billy May and Quincy Jones, among others, and brand new charts, for this fresh innovative musical. Press night will take place on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play A Streetcar Named Desire follows the story of Blanche DuBois, a weak and disturbed woman on a desperate prowl for some place in the world to call her own. After losing their ancestral home, Belle Reve, Blanche shows up at the doorstep of her sister, Stella, in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Putting on airs of refinement and Southern gentility, Blanche tries to impress her brother-in-law, and his gentle, good-natured friend, Mitch. Seeking to escape from reality, and an emblem of a lost traditional South, Blanche becomes a victim of the harsh present. Marlon Brando starred in the Broadway production and the 4-time Academy Award-winning film adaptation. This will mark the 65th Anniversary of this enduring Tennessee Williams classic.
