Fountain Hills Theater publicly announced their 2019-20 Season on Feb. 16th at Broadway in the Hills. There are a total of 15 knockout titles, including 10 musicals and 5 plays for its Mainstage, Mainstage Too! and Youth Theaters. Waterfront Cafe & Summer Stages presents the multi-lingual cabaret El Grande de Coca-Cola, opening on Thursday, August 23rd and then running through September 29th, 2018.  All performances will take place in Berger Park Cultural Center's Coach House Theater, located at 6215 North Sheridan Road - Chicago, Illinois 60660.

???????New York City-based Americana band JD & The Straight Shot - featuring vocalist/guitarist Jim Dolan whose voice the New York Post calls "reminiscent of Tom Waits and Randy Newman," bassist Byron House (Robert Plant, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton) and violinist/fiddler Erin Slaver (Martina McBride, Rod Stewart) - has announced a hometown NYC show on June 22nd at City Winery. 

Lakewood Theatre Company will begin its 65th season with six productions on its Mainstage and three productions on its Side Door stage beginning July 7, 2017. 

Located in the modern HafenCity area of Hamburg, on the banks of the Elbe River, the spectacular building designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron houses three concert halls, a large music education area, the Plaza - a 360° public viewing platform with views over the whole city from a height of 37 meters above ground level - and a hotel. The orchestra in residence, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, will perform two special opening concerts led by its chief conductor Thomas Hengelbrock on January 11 and 12, 2017.

The Colony Theatre is pleased to announce that it is bringing to its mid-size Equity theatre the wildly successful, LA Times Critic's Choice production of EL GRANDE CIRCUS DE COCA-COLA by Ron House, directed by Alan Shearman and based on El Grande de Coca-Cola by Ron House, Diz White, Alan Shearman, and John Neville-Andrews. Ron House's original El Grande de Coca Cola was a huge hit and ran for 3 years off-Broadway. It's about the five-member Hernandez family, an in.your.face incompetent troupe of Mexican cabaret performers who have spent many many years performing in run-down over.the.border clubs. Now House returns with his latest version of the show, an ultra-satirical El Grande Circus de Coca Cola which sold out houses at the Skylight Theatre in Hollywood last summer. It has just reopened at the Colony in Burbank with the same cast headed by Marcelo Tubert as padre Pepe Hernandez. The family may be worthless performers but their Hispanic pride and ambition are unstoppable and drive them across the border into Burbank with the hope of full-out Hollywoodland success. It's lunacy with about a laugh every second, and under Alan Shearman's well-honed direction, the riotous troupe are bound to bring Colony audiences much pre-holiday joy through December 13.

It runs from September 3 to October 11, with previews on September 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. and the opening night today, September 5 at 8 p.m.

Using the philosophy that one good farce deserves another, Hedgerow Theatre follows its popular summer comedy with BULLSHOT CRUMMOND, a madcap parody of 1930s detective films that recreates in comic fashion movie special effects on stage. Legendary Off-Broadway extravaganza spawns a sequel, El Grande CIRCUS de Coca-Cola is now making its World Premiere in Los Angeles at the Skylight Theatre, and will add performances through September 20, 2015.

The talented five-member cast, directed by Alan Shearman, certainly must be commended on their commitment and enthusiasm as they interact with the audience as second-rate circus artists and plow through their intentionally bad vaudeville routines. Just as a clown must know the correct techniques to pratfall or look ridiculous, best acts hit their intended, targeted reactions of laughter and applause when the audience's allowed to realize the good, solid techniques behind these really bad circus feats.
