YES has announced European dates for their Classic Tales of YES Tour 2024. The tour will take place in April and May before moving to the UK in May and June. Check out the full list of dates in the news story below.

Writer/reporter Amy Woods is celebrating the publication of her informative new guidebook, 100 Things to Do in Jupiter Before You Die from Reedy Press. A longtime player in the South Florida media market, her byline is very familiar to readers of The Palm Beach Post, Jupiter Magazine, The Coastal Star, and Florida Weekly.

The “An Extraordinary Life” box set contains 8 remastered CDs, featuring the six solo albums Wetton released between 1980 and 2011. Each album now includes special bonus tracks. Additionally, two further discs are included which feature a gold mine of rare, live and unreleased material from the vaults, compiled by John`s archivist, Rick Nelson.

YES comes to the State Theatre of New Jersey on September 30, 2023. YES: CLASSIC TALES OF YES will be performed with Special Guest Roger Dean. A Live Presentation and Art Gallery will be on site.

Following last year’s sold-out U.S. tour, YES, who are Steve Howe (guitars, vocals), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals, acoustic guitar), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar, vocals), and Jay Schellen (drums), have announced their “Classic Tales Of Yes” tour in the U.S. starting September 24 in Bethlehem, PA.

Focus have so many highlights from their glorious 50-plus years including: Polydor having to close their record pressing plant to other bands for ten days to meet the demand for Focus records; being a favourite of Bob Harris on The Old Grey Whistle Test and to holding simultaneous top ten positions in the UK in both singles and albums charts. 

The band are Thijs van Leer (Hammond organ, flute and vocals) and Pierre van der Linden (drums), who are delighted to still be performing 50 years on, together with Menno Gootjes (guitar) and Udo Pannekeet (bass) who are among the cream of Dutch musicians and grew up with the genius of Focus.

ASIA will release for the first time ever on vinyl ASIA ‘FANTASIA, LIVE IN TOKYO 2007’ as a 3LP set. Recorded on Asia’s 25th anniversary 2007 world tour, and featuring the reformed original line-up, FANTASIA, LIVE IN TOKYO 2007 is to be issued on vinyl as a 3LP set with booklet, including band photos, and sleeve notes through BMG Records.

Featuring Dani Torchia who Kaye met in the wake of 9/11 has written and performed on the album. Tony Kaye retired from Yes in 1996, and came out of retirement the week following the events of 9/11 and began to write this album, the power of music helped Tony to process the day that became the End Of Innocence.

Due to current health issues Alan White will not be taking part on the forthcoming 50th Anniversary Close to the Edge UK Tour. Alan was really looking forward to playing live again preparing to celebrate 50 years with Yes, having joined the band for the July 1972 Close to the Edge Tour, coming full circle in 2022.  Alan’s close friend Jay Schellen will be taking on drumming duties in Alan’s place.     

Ann Wilson releases the breathtaking rendition of Queen’s “Love of My Life,” featuring vocals from Vince Gill. Wilson has always enjoyed bringing new life and verve to classic songs, and with Queen’s ‘Love of My Life’ she has helped fashion a definitive version which stands toe-to-toe with the original. Plus, check out upcoming tour dates!

The tour line-up features Steve Howe (guitars), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar and backing vocals) with additional drums and percussion by Jay Schellen. A full performance of the Relayer album will now be featured in a future tour in The Album Series.
