Rebecca has been performing professionally since she was 8 years old. Most recently, she was cast as “Mica” in the world premiere, Off-Broadway play, October 7, which runs at the Actors Theater May 2-June 16. Earlier in 2024, she performed as “Chava” in Fiddler on the Roof at The Gateway Playhouse.

Rebecca has performed regionally at the John W. Engeman Theater (Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast), Gateway Playhouse (Fiddler on the Roof, White Christmas, Into The Woods), in TYA Tours throughout NY and Long Island (The Wizard of Oz, Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut, Willy Wonka, Alexander and the…Very Bad Day), and in new works, such as: NYMF’s My Perfect Pet, Two Thousand Miles: In Concert at 54 Below, and The Girl with the Paintbush. As a child actor, Rebecca performed on Broadway in Godspell as part of the “Cast of 2032,” as young versions of both “Lindsay Mendez” and “Hannah Elless.” In high school, Rebecca was a finalist for Best Actress as “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz at The Roger Rees Awards.

Additionally, she is a produced playwright who not only wrote but performed in her original play, 5 Jews in a Near Death Experience (That Shockingly Has Nothing ti Do with Antisemitism!), which was produced by the Post Theatre Company. She has many scripts in the works and is a songwriter with her single “Crushing” streaming on all platforms. Rebecca is a self taught guitarist who has been performing solo gigs at least 4x a month since September 2023. She has also performed with bands throughout the NY region.

Rebecca’s experience on screen includes films at the TriBeCa and Cannes Film Festivals. Most notably, the multi award winning short film, "Fool's Day" directed by Cody Blue Snider. Rebecca has appeared on Network TV shows including ABC Primetime’s What Would You Do, The Daily Show and Sesame Street. She has also has voiced numerous characters on the animated TV shows: The Wonderpets, Team Umizoomi, Small Potatoes and the pilot Tobi. As a voiceover artist, Rebecca has lended her voice to ESL Audio Books and educational videos used overseas and in the U.S. Additionally, she has been a part of radio ads for worldwide companies (List available upon request). 

In addition to performing on stage, Rebecca has experience as a director and choreographer. In 2024, she directed and choreographed a production of Seussical Jr. for the Oceanside School District, performed by 5th and 6th graders. Additional educational theatre settings include Shelter Rock Elementary School (Choreograoher; Mary Poppins), and Post Theatre Company (Assistant Director; The Laramie Project). She has also directed camp musicals for Silver Point Beach Club Day Camp (Frozen Jr., The Wizard of Oz, The Little Mermaid Jr.) for children ages 6-15 years old.

Rebecca graduated cumma sum laude from Long Island University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She aspires to share her love of storytelling and encourage others to chase their dreams— since her wonderful family, friends, and teachers have done the same for her for years. She is grateful for all opportunities she’s received thus far and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents a staged reading of MY PERFECT PET. Marlo Hunter, Founder & Artistic Director of Eating Their Words, will direct a cast that includes Ethan Haberfield (Mary Poppins), Rebecca Lynn Goldfarb (Godspell 2032), David Foley, Jr. (Shrek, National Tour), Caroline Cahill, and Adrienne Asterita in a staged reading of the new family musical MY PERFECT PET. Daniel Feyer (Arnie the Doughnut) serves as music director, with stage management by Lauren Wong and general management by Gretchen Margaroli. Performances are July 27th at 4:30 p.m. and July 28th at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. as part of the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival.
