The sold-out limited engagement of director Jennifer DeLia's fresh take on Scott Organ's play PHOENIX, starring Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Julia Stiles and James Wirt, has been extended by popular demand for four additional performances. PHOENIX will play the additional performances Monday, August 25 at 8pm, Tuesday, August 26 at 8pm, Wednesday, August 27 at 8pm and Thursday, August 28 at 8pm.

Scott Organ's dark romantic comedy Phoenix, directed by Jennifer DeLia and starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Julia Stiles and James Wirt is currently playing a limited engagement through Saturday, August 23 at the Cherry Lane Theatre - and DeLia has penned a new essay defending the unconventional piece and the creative team's artistic choices.

Wirt co-stars with Julia Stiles in a dark and romantic contemporary tale with rat-a-tat dialogue whose themes zigzag around existence, time travel, parenthood and imperfect relationships.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced the company's 2014-2015 programming celebrating it's 20th anniversary season. Lily Rabe will play Mary Pickford in a biopic movie based on Eileen Whitfield's book 'Mary Pickford: The Woman Who Made Hollywood', according to Deadline.com. Scheduled to begin shooting in early 2013, the film will boast a scrip written by Josh Fagin.
