Charlotte Conservatory Theatre, the Queen City's newest professional performing arts company, has announced their second production, Selina Fillinger's recent Broadway smash POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive.

This month the LCT Spotlight Series will turn its focus to Open Stages, Lincoln Center Theater’s education program and the virtual reimagining of its highly popular annual presentation, A CELEBRATION OF STUDENT SONGS. 

IATI Theater in a co-production with The Box Collective presents Hurricane Sleep, a new female-centered experimental play about trauma and how healing begins with the most intimate self to reverberate through dimensions of time and being, written and co-directed by Andrea Goldman.  Julia Watt and Goldman co-direct a cast of five, including George Bass*, Shashwat Gupta, Neysa Lozano, Rachel Schmeling and Heaven Stephens*.  Ten performances will be staged at IATI Theater from May 2-12, 2019.

After three years of planning, Brew: The Museum of Beer, the widely anticipated multimillion dollar national beer museum, hosted a Coming Out Party and launched its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign on Wednesday, October 19 in Pittsburgh.

On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome Adjusted Realists with the US premiere of GLUTEN! written by Stephen Kaliski and directed by Mr. Kaliski and Amanda Holston. Winner of multiple awards (including the 2012 Lucille Lortel and New York Drama Critics Circle awards for Best Play) and a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Sons of the Prophet is a contemporary comedy-drama that is 'soul-piercing' and 'explosively funny' (The New York Times).

The readings are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. today, Nov. 3 at the William Inge Theatre at Independence Community College, Independence, Kansas.
