Simon & Schuster has published a new edition of James D. Watson's The Double Helix, annotated and illustrated by Alexander Gann and Jan Witkowski this November, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of James Watson, Francis Crick and Maurice Wilkins receiving the Nobel prize for identifying the structure of DNA. Publisher Jonathan Karp acquired North American and digital rights for the book from Amanda Urban of ICM.

According to the New York Times, playwritght Glen Berger, who recently worked alongside Julie Taymor, Bono and the Edge on Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, will write a book on the whole saga, titled "Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History."

Minnesota resident Jill Bernard is a treasure in the world of improv. She is a noted performer, instructor and author. Recently, her company, HUGE Improv Theater in Minneapolis held a fundraiser and one auction prize was a chance to perform with Bernard.
