One of Ireland’s longest-running and most treasured folk festivals, Cork Folk Festival, is gearing up for its 44th edition this month, with 40 events taking place across the city featuring over 200 musicians, from Wednesday 27th September to Sunday 1st October. Organisers have announced a return to live folk music at the 42nd Cork Folk Festival, happening across Cork city from Wednesday 29th September to Sunday 3rd October 2021.

The Pressure Players, an NYC-based ensemble production company, will host a virtual fundraiser from July 5 to August 31 via their website in an effort to support both the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a nonprofit for veterans and 9/11 survivors, and the original works they'll debut in their second season.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands, "America's Tennis Rockstar," signed a multi-year deal to become a celebrity spokesperson and brand ambassador for Kimo Sabe Mezcal, announced today by Ashley Walsh Kvamme, CMO and co-founder of Kimo Sabe. Mattek-Sands will make public appearances as well as appear in digital and print advertising for Kimo Sabe Mezcal. With this deal, Bethanie Mattek-Sands becomes one of the only female spokespeople for a liquor brand.
