Theatre Raleigh presents the next show in its 2019 Summer Series, Junk by Ayad Akhtar. Inspired by the real junk bond kings of the 1980's, this riveting show offers an inside look at how money became the only thing that mattered.

Lesser America (Half Moon Bay, The Bachelors, Carnival Kids, Trevor) presents the New York Premiere of IN A WORD by Lauren Yee, winner of the 2016 Francesca Primus Prize and a finalist for the ATCA/Steinberg Award. Directed by Tyne Rafaeli (The Bridges of Madison County national tour, Actually at Geffen Playhouse), previews began June 16 at Cherry Lane Theatre, where Lesser America continues its run as the inaugural Company in Residence. Opening night is slated for tonight, June 21.

Award winning puppet theatre, THE BAG LADY by Malgosia Szkandera, will begin its international tour at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre (410 W 42nd Street) tonight, January 31, and Saturday, February 1, at 7pm. THE BAG LADY is being presented by Ana Szkandera, in association with Daniel Neiden with the support of The Jim Henson Foundation.

The Bunker Trilogy is written by Jamie Wilkes. The productions will be directed by Jethro Compton. Previews from tonight, 28 August 2013. Press night Friday, 30 August 2013 at 7.30pm. It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, announced today a deal to publish the memoir of rock 'n' roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis in 2012. The book was acquired at auction by Cal Morgan, Vice President and Editorial Director of It Books. The agent was Erin Hosier of the Dunow, Carlson & Lerner Literary Agency.
