Multi-platinum Australian recording artist Emily Williams will star as Rachel Marron when the award-winning international smash hit musical THE BODYGUARD returns to Glasgow at the Theatre Royal from Wednesday 3 January 2024 for the final dates of the tour.

Following a successful limited theatrical run, Billy Idol: State Line, a Vertigo Live concert film documenting the rock legend's April show at the famed Hoover Dam—the first ever concert performed at the location. The Blu-ray and DVD have bonus features, including an exclusive Q&A with Idol's longtime guitarist and collaborator Steve Stevens.

Fans around the world will be able to access the show at Veeps.com as well as via the Veeps app on Apple TV, Roku, iOS and Android. Fans who acess the Veeps stream will receive access to exclusive bonus material including never before seen footage of Idol performing the tracks “Rebel Yell” and “Bitter Taste” at the Hoover Dam.

The movie highlights the history and significance of Hoover Dam and includes performances from two unique sets of Billy Idol’s iconic hits: a full band concert at sunset with special guests that electrified and illuminated the surrounding Black Canyon and an acoustic duo set on the roof of the powerhouse at the foot of Hoover Dam.

The reissue includes the original 10-track album, the previously unreleased August 12,1982 concert from The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA as well as the recently unearthed and previously unreleased 12-minute Clubland Extended Remix of his classic song “White Wedding” from Idol’s debut. Fresh off a performance at Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, rock legend Billy Idol confirms a new run of headline shows in August and September. The dates include debut performances at New York City’s Kings Theatre, D.C.’s The Anthem and Boston’s MGM Music Hall as well as an appearance at Jazz Aspen Snowmass with the Foo Fighters.

The feelgood musical Sisters Act come to Sweden! The premiere will take place on September 11 at the China Theater. It is a divine rap, funny and musical comedy, based on the 1992 Blockbuster movie, Sister Act, featuring Whoopi Goldberg. The musical was nominated in the US for five Tony Awards for 'Best Musical' and of course 'Best Music'. The captivating music is made by composer Alan Menken, a numerous Oscar winner, is known as the man behind many of Disney's greatest hits, eg 'Can you feel the love tonight' and 'Beauty and the beast'. In this swinging monastery, Menken has created a rosary of hits ranging from 70's disco in Barry White's spirit to perfectly tuned ballads. Of course, the musical also contains a huge dose of pat-friendly power gospel. The performance Sister Act proves once again that singing nuns definitely belong to the big musical scenes.

Several of the country's leading dancers and musical artists stand on stage together with Jonkoping's Sinfonietta when the Broadway Music On the Town comes to Scandinavia and the Spira Culture House for the first time.
