DreamWorks Theatricals and Music Theatre International, in partnership with NBCUniversal’s Global Talent Development & Inclusion (GTDI) team, announce today the DreamWorks Theatricals/MTI Emerging Writers Program, a new partnership that will identify diverse teams of bookwriters, composers and lyricists with unique voices and points of view to develop musical adaptations of popular DreamWorks Animation titles intended for the Music Theatre International catalogue.

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is excited to announce R.U.N - a groundbreaking new show and the entertainment group's first live action thriller, premiering at Luxor this fall. R.U.N is an unprecedented entertainment experience, using live action performance, cutting-edge technology and multimedia to explore the world of stunts.

Most recently, Veale was the Business Affairs Analyst in the entertainment group at Dentons Canada LLC where she worked on a wide variety of production-related legal and business affairs in the film, television, and new media area.  Before joining Dentons she served as Business Affairs Coordinator at Shaftesbury where she worked on high profile television series and projects produced by their digital division.  She also held the position of Director of Development and Associate Producer at Accent Entertainment. 

They're changing the cast at Thriller Live with eight new dancers joining the 15th Longest Running Musical in West End history - all making their West End stage debuts. The youngsters joining the cast this week are on 12-month contracts that will see them in the show when it starts its 10th anniversary West End celebrations at the Lyric Theatre in January 2018. USA Network's hit drama series MR. ROBOT from Universal Cable Productions was today named a winner of a George Foster Peabody Award in the 75thAnnual Peabody Awards competition.

On September 2nd and 3rd, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown The Musical, is coming to 54 BELOW. But this isn't your usual production of the show. This concert version of the musical will have a cast of kids, (12-13 years old) which is different from past productions of the show, since it is usually performed with a cast of adults playing children.

The Shapiro Sisters, 11-year old Milly Shapiro (Matilda, Original Broadway Cast of Matilda The Musical) and older sister, 14-year-old Abigail Shapiro (Cindy Lou Who, How The Grinch Stole Christmas), recorded the album live at the famed 54 BELOW over a series of three performances this past May and June.

The Hollywood Reporter has released its 2014 list of the Top 25 Film Schools, which ranks the nation's most distinguished teaching institutions for film production. Tony Award Winner and Grammy Award Nominee Milly Shapiro (Matilda The Musical) and triple threat sister Abigail Shapiro (The Grinch Who Stole Christmas) will be taking the stage at 54 Below on Monday, June 9th in "The Shapiro Sisters: Live Out Loud". This will be their third performance at 54 Below following Abigail's run as Cindy Lou Who in the regional production of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Milly's tenure originating the role of Matilda for the original Broadway production of Matilda the Musical at the Shubert Theatre.
