Sarah Goldberg was an American actress born on September 6, 1974, in Evanston, Illinois. She graduated from the Northwestern University School of Communication in 1996 and later went on to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Goldberg began her career in theater, making her Broadway debut in 2004 in the play "The Royal Family" by George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber. She also appeared in off-Broadway productions such as "The Mineola Twins" and "The Water's Edge."
In addition to her stage work, Goldberg had a successful career in television and film. She appeared in several episodes of the television series "Hindsight" and "The Dark Knight" and also had a recurring role on the hit HBO series "Barry" as Sally Reed, a struggling actress and love interest of the titular character played by Bill Hader.
Goldberg also appeared in several independent films, including "The Unseen" and "I Love You, Daddy," directed by Louis C.K.
Tragically, Sarah Goldberg passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 40. At the time of her passing, she was working on the second season of "Barry." Her talent and contributions to the entertainment industry will be greatly missed.
