Following a sell-out performance in 2023, Saher Shah's debut play Vitamin D is returning for a tour this Spring. With an all female cast, Vitamin D explores the taboo of divorce in British South Asian culture.

After sold-out work-in-progress sharings at Camden People's Theatre and Hope Mill Theatre, Ladyfriends will premiere at Bristol's Loco Klub this March. Ladyfriends' run at the Loco Klub includes a post-show disco hosted by WNB Disco Collective: the queer nightlife pioneers behind Misscoteque.

The holidays are all about tradition. Hanging a familiar ornament on the tree, baking a special dish that is only made during this time of year, watching a favorite holiday movie or TV special in order to get into a festive mood, or yes, even the annual office holiday party. But in the world of musical theatre, there aren’t a lot of productions that fit this category. But the Renaissance Theatre Company in Orlando has decided to fill this void by offering once again this year its hit immersive musical experience, THE OFFICE HOLIDAY PARTY MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA SHOW – something I certainly had on my Christmas list after experiencing it last year – and like its 2021 premiere, it offers an innovative, unique, grown up, interactive and hilarious evening that is sure to put a smile on your face and put you in a holiday mood.

FAME WHORE premieres at the Kings Head Theatre, Islington from 5th – 29th October 2022 before embarking on a small East Anglian tour.

The feature-length documentary includes the voices of some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment and details Abdul-Rauf’s unprecedented journey from schoolboy prodigy to NBA All-Rookie team to national pariah. In terms of his athletic abilities and activism, he was Stephen Curry before Stephen Curry and Colin Kaepernick.

We have all been there. The work party that you feel compelled to attend, whether you want to or not, where some years it is just a bit of egg nog and polite conversation, and others it is a night to remember (or forget, depending on how much you have to drink). Regardless of which type of shindig your company puts on each year, the one being staged at Renaissance Theatre Company under the extensive title THE OFFICE HOLIDAY PARTY MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA SHOW probably has them all beat. This immersive musical experience, the second offering for the new theatre company which was founded earlier this year, is a whole lot of festive fun, and it successfully carves out a niche in the typical holiday theatrical offerings – a grown up, alcohol fueled, interactive and immersive escape into the festivities of that often maligned, but underappreciated event – the annual office Christmas party.  

Galvanized by the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May of 2020, Cerise Jacobs and her activist opera company, White Snake Projects, developed the virtual opera Death by Life – exploring  the intersection of systemic racism and mass incarceration with texts written by incarcerated writers and their families and a score by five Black composers – to stand as a monument of support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

The '80s are coming back to Winter Garden this summer during Garden Theatre's production of Flashdance the Musical! Directed by Jani Walsh-Weber, Flashdance will take to the Garden stage from July 5 - 28, 2019 with passion, fierce talent, and of course, the iconic rain scene. 

Following last week's anticipated opening, Chicago Shakespeare Theater announces today the extension of the North American Premiere production of SIX, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss--now playing in The Yard at Chicago Shakespeare.

The fourth edition of Art Night London's most popular free contemporary art festival will take place on the night of Saturday 22 June 2019, beginning at 5pm in King's Cross and 7pm in Walthamstow, and running throughout the night. Sunday 23 June will see a selection of projects open for Art Night's Sunday Trail from 12pm to 4pm. Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival today announced the 2nd edition of the CONTACT Photobook Fair will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Stephen Bulger Gallery. The event is free and open to the public. In conjunction with the Fair, CONTACT is organizing a dynamic series of public programs and initiatives on photobooks throughout the month-long CONTACT Festival in May, including a conference titled Women and Photobooks (May 4) an exhibition of the 2018 Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards Shortlist (May 1-31), the Book Dummy Reviews (May 6), and the announcement of the annual Burtynsky Grant (June 6).

From November 24 through December 23, 2018, A Christmas Story comes to life on the Garden Theatre stage. The play, directed by Patrick Braillard and sponsored by Florida Hospital, opens on November 24 at 2:00 pm. A sensory-friendly performance will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 2:00 pm.
