Peter Quilter BIO

Peter’s work has been produced in major theatres throughout the world, playing in 34 countries and translated into 22 languages. He has had three shows in London’s West End and has twice been nominated for the Olivier Award: Best Comedy 2006 and Best Play 2011. End of the Rainbow premiered at Sydney Opera House, followed by hit productions in Amsterdam, Madrid, Hamburg, Rio de Janeiro and London. Peter’s comedy Glorious! (the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, the worst singer in the world) has also enjoyed considerable international success, playing to over a million people in theatres across five continents. His other plays include The Morning After, Celebrity, Boyband, The Nightingales and the 2-actor comedy Duets.
