Meet the cast for PlayGround's 28th Festival of New Works Premieres featuring APERTURES OF LOVE IN TIMES OF WAR and A THOUSAND NATURAL SHOCKS.

Casting has been announced for PlayGround’s 28th annual Festival of New Works Premieres: Anne Yumi Kobori’s Apertures of Love in Times of War (May 11-12, 2024) and Jacob Marx Rice’s A Thousand Natural Shocks (May 18-19, 2024). 

The cast and creative team has been announced for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, which-runs for 13 live performances at the Skokie Theatre.

On Friday, March 8, 2024, New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) will release an album drawn from its archives, NYFOS Records: The Singles, Vol. 1 featuring guest artists performing together with pianist and NYFOS Artistic Director Steven Blier on NYFOS Records. Learn more here!

New York Festival of Song has revealed its 2023-24 season of performances, including four Mainstage Series programs at Merkin Hall, co-presented with Kaufman Music Center.

What did our critic think of CHINGLISH at SF Playhouse? SF Playhouse is all in with their take on Tony Award winner and Pulitzer Prize finalist David Henry Hwang's Chinglish: stylish set and lighting, excellent direction, and a strong ensemble cast. While there's plenty of comic moments in Hwang's sardonic commentary on language barriers and the effects of those miscommunications, there's also thoughtful observations on fidelity, corporate and judicial corruption, and even nationalism.

​​​​​​​New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) hosts its annual spring gala, Feelin' Groovy: Songs from the 60s, on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Racquet & Tennis Club on Park Avenue. In support of NYFOS's 35th season, the gala features a performance of songs by Laura Nyro, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell and the Beatles, along with some Motown hits.
