Cleveland Orchestra Announces 2017-18 American Greetings Family Concert Series


The Cleveland Orchestra announces its 2017-18 American Greetings Family Concert series, for children ages 7 and older, and PNC Musical Rainbow series, for children ages 3 to 6.  Both concert series are designed to introduce young people to classical music, and feature performances by Cleveland Orchestra musicians with special guest artists. Subscriptions for both series are now available by visiting the Severance Hall Ticket Office, clevelandorchestra.com, and by calling 216-231-1111 or 800-686-1141.  Tickets to individual performances go on sale in late summer.

Beck Center to Present 33 VARIATIONS, 10/11-11/17


Beck Center for the Arts is proud to present the regional premiere of 33 Variations, October 11 through November 17, 2013 in the intimate Studio Theater. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are now on sale. There will be no performance on Saturday, October 19.

Cleveland Orchestra Expands 'Under 18s Free' Program


Committed to welcoming more young people and families, The Cleveland Orchestra will significantly expand the “Under 18s Free” program in the 2013-14 season to include 46 concerts from September to May, an increase from 14 “Under 18s Free” concerts in 2012-13. “Under 18s Free” tickets will be available for all family programming at Severance Hall, along with Cleveland Orchestra concerts on Fridays and Sundays. The concerts include the Family Concert Series; PNC Musical Rainbows programs; Cleveland Orchestra Friday Matinee, Friday evening (including KeyBank Fridays@7), and Sunday afternoon concerts; and Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra and Youth Chorus concerts.

The Cleveland Orchestra presents 'Vivacious Viola' PNC Musical Rainbow Concerts, 11/30 & 12/1


Cleveland Orchestra violist Lisa Boyko will introduce children ages 3-6 to "The Vivacious Viola" in PNC Musical Rainbow concerts, held in Severance Hall's Reinberger Chamber Hall. Viola students from El Sistema@Rainey will perform with Ms. Boyko during the program. There will be one performance on Friday, November 30, at 10 a.m., and two Saturday performances, Saturday, December 1, at 10 a.m. and Saturday, December 1, at 11 a.m. Local actress and singer Maryann Nagel hosts the 30-minute programs for young children, which include narration, demonstration, short solo selections, and audience participation.
