Disney's 'Aladdin Jr', the one hour youth version of the hit Broadway musical, delights audiences each weekend now through August at The Media Theatre. Saturday performances are at 11am with Sunday shows at Noon.

The Media Theatre will transport young audiences to prehistoric times when it presents the new stage adaptation of 'Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark' weekends in March, April, and May as part of the award-winning Children's Series. The family-friendly musical for ages 4 and up follows the adventures of a brother and sister who discover a magical tree house that whisks them away to the land of dinosaurs.

Delaware County resident Jim Conte has been enjoying what he refers to as his 'encore career' as a character actor the last few years. He's been known as Oz and Father Virgil Trott at The Media Theatre but will now have a name known only if you are able to answer a very important riddle!

Dana Ivey, Richard Thomas, Bill Raymond and other notable actors and directors will lead the applause as Hartford Stage celebrates its 50th Anniversary. Three events create the capstone of the year-long festivities: same day performances of La Dispute and Macbeth on Saturday, November 2; a 50-Year Retrospective: A Conversation with all Five Artistic Directors at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 3; and the Hartford Stage 50th Anniversary Celebration at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 4.
