Plot details for the new film are currently be kept under wraps, other than that it will be a 'modern reimagining' of the classic movie musical. The deal closed last week with Sheila Walcott overseeing for the studio.

On May 1st, Master Teacher Richard Lawson will be joined by casting director Kimberly Hardin. Twenty actors will be given the opportunity to have their self-tape auditions assessed and redirected by Mr. Lawson and Ms. Hardin. Classes take place Saturday mornings at 10 AM PST via Zoom.

Jackson, Parker McKenna Posey, Karen Obilom and Jackie Long, season one of “GAMES PEOPLE PLAY” followed a desperate basketball wife trying to protect her family, a tenacious journalist struggling to rebuild a tarnished career, and a scandalous groupie looking to become a star, who all find it is murder trying to stay on top. In April 2019, fans were introduced to their newest guilty pleasure which left them at the edge of their seats every episode, culminating with the “killer” season one ending. Season two cast members will be announced at a later date.

The Penny Seats Theatre Company is proud to announce that it will take up residency at Stone Chalet Bed and Breakfast Inn and Event Center on Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor. Beginning in 2020, the Inn's Event Center will house all Penny Seats work, including rehearsals and performances throughout the year, with the exception of the group's annual summer outdoor shows in Ann Arbor's West Park.

The Penny Seats Theatre Company is thrilled to announce that its seventh summer season this year will open on Thursday, June 15th with The Renaissance Man, a World Premier from renowned Michigan playwright, Joseph Zettelmaier. The story is comedic riff on Macbeth set in the modern day at a local Renaissance Faire. It joyfully follows the lives of workers at the Faire, asking whether a disgruntled knight can-or should-take the Faire back to its Renaissance roots. Zettelmaier's work retains fundamental elements of Shakespeare's play, while exploring just how funny the story can be in context.
