Ruth Sent Us: A Benefit For Reproductive Justice, which premiered live and virtually at The Green Room 42 October 11, has extended streaming through October 24 at 7 PM. The event has so far raised over $2,600 for the Jewish Fund for Abortion Access. Ensemble Studio Theatre (EST) has announced complete casting for the 38th Marathon of One-Act Plays, which will be fully comprised of work from artists who identify as Black, Indigenous & People of Color (BIPOC). This year's selection of eleven plays was curated by Co-Artistic Directors Mike Lew (Teenage Dick) and Colette Robert (Behind the Sheet). Ten plays will be presented across two different series from Sunday October 16 through Sunday November 13 at EST.

Levine joins the previously announced Emmy winner Mauricio Martinez, Grammy nominees Austin Ku and Kendyl Ito, Jeff Award winner Andrea Prestinario, Emmy nominee David Dabbon, and Marina Pires and Luke Wygodny of The Heartstrings Project (Grammy consideration).

The Green Room 42 will present Ruth Sent Us: A Benefit For Reproductive Justice on October 11th at 7:00 PM. Dedicated to the late great Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, this one-night-only concert will celebrate RBG's legacy through songs and discussion from the Broadway community. Heather Booth, civil rights activist and founder of JANE consults. Directed and Produced by Mara Jill Herman with Music Direction by Andrea Grody, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jewish Fund For Abortion Access.

WAITRESS, which features an all-original score of music and lyrics by singer-songwriter-actress Sara Bareilles, which is now on stage at the Hanna Theatre, in a month-long Huntington featured performance, is unique in that, when it opened on Broadway, it featured an all-female production team.

The producers of Waitress and Blumenthal Performing Arts announced casting for the hit Broadway musical, which will return to Charlotte for a special five-week engagement April 19–May 22, 2022 in the Booth Playhouse, followed by a five-week engagement at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square May 26–June 26, 2022 in the Hanna Theatre.

Stephanie Torns will star in the lead role as Jenna Hunterson after understudying the role at the American Repertory Theater, prior to the Broadway run, as well as on Broadway. Stephanie also played supporting and ensemble roles throughout the original Broadway run and the show's restaging in 2021.

That is the premise and the purpose of MUSE MATCH, a concert of new works benefiting The Musical Theatre Factory. The founder of the event, Bill Coyne described it as a “musical theatre blind date.” Cabaret artists are matched up with a composer or composing team. They answer a series of in-depth questions about what believe in and what’s important to them as people, and voila! a custom-made song.
