Midnight Theatricals celebrates opening night of for WE ARE THE TIGERS, the original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy written & composed by Preston Max Allen and produced by S. Asher Gelman, that will made its New York Premiere Off-Broadway at Theater 80 (80 St. Mark's Place). Michael Bello directs the pitch-black comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer. Music supervision and arrangements are by Patrick Sulken.

Last night, the 2017-2018 class of Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellows presented excerpts of full length works at Playwrights Horizons at 7:00 PM. This presentation caps off a year spent working under the tutelage of Michael Korie (War Paint), Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers), Diana Son (Stop Kiss), and Sheri Wilner (Kingdom City).

Original cast member Robbie Simpson (TV: The Path NY: A Class Act) rejoins the cast of the hit Off-Broadway play AFTERGLOW written and directed by S. Asher Gelman. The play, which recently celebrated its 100th performance, has enjoyed two extensions and has opened another block of tickets through January 14, 2018 at The Loft at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45 St).

Joe Chisholm (Regional: The Little Mermaid, My Fair Lady) will join the cast of Midnight Theatricals' production of AFTERGLOW, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman. Mr. Chisholm will take over the role of Alex, originated by  Robbie Simpson, his first performance will be Monday, August 21, 2017.
