After 33 years in London's West End, the theatrical sensation that is Susan Hill's THE WOMAN IN BLACK, will play its final performance at The Fortune Theatre, London on Saturday 4 March 2023.

What’s so special about The Woman in Black, and why is it still running in the West End after 33 years? As someone who is about to perform in it for the 1,000th time, I can offer an insider’s view that provides just one of several answers to that question.

Susan Hill's The Woman in Black celebrated 13,000 performances at The Fortune Theatre on 13 August 2022. To celebrate this milestone performance, a strictly limited number of £13 tickets are available for select performances until 27 August.

The new cast has been announced for Susan Hill's THE WOMAN IN BLACK at The Fortune Theatre, London. Julian Forsyth returns to the production to star as Arthur Kipps and Matthew Spencer reprises his role as The Actor from Tuesday 7 June 2022.

The Wicker Husband is a folk musical written by Rhys Jennings, with music by Darren Clark. This Spring, the acclaimed Watermill Theatre presents the World premiere of a captivating and powerful new folk-inspired musical. The Wicker Husband, by Rhys Jennings and Darren Clark, was the winner of the inaugural MTI Stiles + Drewe Mentorship Award in 2016 celebrating new British musical theatre writers and was included in the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 30th Annual Festival of New Musicals in New York.

PW Productions celebrated the 30th Anniversary of Susan Hill's THE WOMAN IN BLACK on Wednesday 5 June at The Fortune Theatre, London with celebrations led by producer Peter Wilson and director Robin Herford.

It was today announced that Lara Pulver, Stephen Mangan, Sharon D. Clarke and Paul Nicholas will join the cast of Guys and Dolls at the Royal Albert Hall. Pulver who recently won an Olivier Award for her performance in Gypsy, and is known for her roles in Sherlock and Spooks, will play Sarah Brown. Stephen Mangan, who was in the West End earlier this year in an anniversary production of Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party, joins the cast as the narrator. Clarke, most recently on stage in acclaimed Caroline, or Change, will take the role of General Cartwright and Nicholas will be Arvide Abernathy. They join previously announced cast including Adrian Lester, Jason Manford, Meow Meow, Clive Rowe and Joe Stilgoe. Guys and Dolls will come to the iconic London venue for three performances between 19 - 20 October, directed and choreographed by Stephen Mear (Gypsy, Hello Dolly!, Mary Poppins) and featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. This will be the first time it has ever been presented in its entirety at the venue.

Trafalgar Releasing has announced the North American theatrical release of the highly acclaimed musical, An American in Paris, coming to movie theaters across the USA on Thursday, September 20 and Sunday, September 23.

The London stage production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS will be heading to movie theaters worldwide in 2018. Trafalgar Releasing has acquired the theatrical rights to the West End musical, which trasnferred from Broadway after picking up four Tony Awards.

The new musical, An American in Paris, was uniformly critically acclaimed when it opened earlier this year. Inspired by the Hollywood classic, it is now playing its final 14 weeks at the Dominion Theatre. The last performance of this celebrated engagement will be on Saturday 6 January 2018. The London production of An American in Paris has been filmed for future release in cinemas, featuring the original cast led by Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope.
