And this Monday, May 20th, John Bantay will do his farewell SPIN as he leaves to continue pursuing his career and becomes a stage manager at the long-running musical, Avenue Q. Speaking to John Bantay, I, of course, was curious as to what his favorite video clips have been over the years. He was reticent to put them in 'Top 10' format because, to him, he considers them all number 1's. So here's his hit list, in no particular order:

Roundabout Theatre Company's limited engagement of The Ritz will play its final performance on Sunday, December 9 at 2PM. This revival of Terrence McNally's comedy The Ritz stars Rosie Perez (as Googie Gomez) and Kevin Chamberlin (as Gaetano Proclo) and is directed by Joe Mantello at Studio 54

Though silence has set upon many of the Broadway theaters, 'Musical Mondays' at Splash made a whole lot of noise this week. The always popular venue was packed as video after video of musical performances kept the Broadway vibe alive in Chelsea. Though spirits were high, the strike was not far from peoples minds. The theater professionals that frequent the show tune shindig spoke of the angst so many are feeling as they wait for both sides to come to a compromise.
