Queens based Titan Theatre Company opened it's final production of it's Award Winning and Critically Acclaimed second season on Friday April 25th, 2014 with the opening of its highly anticipated adaptation of Shakespeare's Epic KING LEAR. The production, which stars Broadway vet Terry Layman in the title role and is made possible through a generous grant from the Queens Council for the Arts, will runs thru May 11, 2014 at the Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue, located in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park. THIS PRISON WHERE I LIVE transports audiences to Edwin Booth's 1879 run of William Shakespeare's Richard II at the McVicker Theatre in Chicago. Australian Made Entertainment has announced the New York premiere production of Louis Nowra's COSI directed by Jesse Michael Mothershed. COSI, a funny and poignant play, marks the inaugural production of Australian Made Entertainment, a theatre company dedicated to showcasing Australian plays in New York City. COSI will play a two-week limited engagement at Urban Stages (259 West 30th Street). Performances begin tonight, September 7th and continue through Sunday, September 23rd. Opening Night is Sunday, September 9th (2 p.m.). Press performances are Saturday September 8 and Sunday September 9.
