Jayne Houdyshell was nominated for Tony Awards for her performances in the most recent revival of Follies and the Broadway production of Well. She won Obie and Theatre World Awards for Well’s original run at the Public Theater. Her other Broadway appearances include Romeo and Juliet, Wicked, Bye Bye Birdie, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Dead Accounts. Recent Off-Broadway productions include Horton Foote’s Harrison, TX; Coraline; The New Century; The Receptionist; and The Pain and the Itch. She appeared in the films Lucky Stiff, Everybody’s Fine, Morning Glory, Changing Lanes, Garden State, and Trust the Man. Television credits include “Elementary,” “Blue Bloods,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and a recurring role on NBC’s new series “Odyssey.”
