Tommy Stinson & Chip Roberts will grace the stage of Helsinki Hudson on Saturday February 13th with their intimate music act Cowboys in the Campfire. Hosted by Dark carnival band Dust Bowl Faeries and produced by Experiential Design Artist Corey Aldrich, the show will broadcast LIVE from the Club Helsinki stage in historic Hudson, New York.

The Dust Bowl Faeries bring their original dream-landscape sounds to Club Helsinki Hudson for a monthly winter Helsinki stage show. The show will be broadcast on the Helsinki stage and presented virtually on December 12, at 8pm.

Ancram Opera House will stream its newest program, LOCAL CHARACTERS, featuring AOH director Paul Ricciardi conducting lively, free-wheeling interviews with local residents to learn what makes them tick, online July 25 at 8PM.

Helsinki Hudson will produce a documentary film about life in Hudson during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. RE-IMAGINING HUDSON: A Rivertown in Time of Pandemic will capture a moment in time, when a global pandemic hits a small city of 6,000 on the Hudson River in upstate New York, and document how its residents cope, respond, react, and rebuild their fragile socio-cultural ecosystem.

Club Helsinki Hudson has issued an open call for Hudson-region residents to participate in a new effort combining music and other creative pursuits to document life in Hudson during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Club Helsinki Hudson has launched a virtual open mic that streams live on Tuesdays at 7pm on the Club Helsinki Virtual Open Mic page at http://clubhelsinki.live, where broadcasts will be archived for viewing after the fact. The virtual open mic blends performers livestreaming their contributions with pre-recorded segments and footage drawn from Helsinki's extensive video archive. 

Helsinki Hudson has launched a community crowdfunding campaign to raise funds in support of members of its staff who have lost income due to the COVID-19 medical emergency. The campaign, called Help Support the Staff at Helsinki Hudson, uses the GoFundMe platform and is available at https://bit.ly/2Rlyezu

Club Helsinki Hudson, the Restaurant at Helsinki Hudson, and the Helsinki Hudson event space remain temporarily closed in accordance with local and state recommendations and requirements based on the state of emergency brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Helsinki Hudson announced today that doors to both its restaurant and nightclub and concerts will be closed effectively immediately, due to the COVID-19 medical emergency.

Folk-country pop singer-songwriter Crystal Bowersox, an American Idol finalist who was the first contestant in the program's history to have one of her original songs played on the show, returns to Club Helsinki Hudson on Thursday, July 16, at 8pm.

Broadway star Howard McGillin brings his 'Never Been Younger' cabaret to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, April 26, at 7pm, as part of the Helsinki on Broadway series presented by Showstoppers NY in association with Gary DiMauro. The two-time Tony Award nominee is best known for his record-setting run playing the title role in 'The Phantom of the Opera.'

The Rabbbits, a concept band created by visual artist Ron English, bring their pop songs from the fictional underworld of Delusionville to Club Helsinki Hudson on Thursday, April 2, at 8pm.   The Rabbbits bring together Ron English's iconic characters in musical form. Led by Sam Smith, the group -- also featuring Bryan Kopchak and Damien Jackson - performs songs written by English and Joe Johnson, recounting stories from the fictional underworld Delusionville, an Aesop's Fables-on-acid utopia populated by English's cartoon animals.

The city's style and fashion community will come out in full force with 'Struttin' with the Stars Act III,' a fashion show with celebrity lookalikes and musical entertainment at Club Helsinki Hudson on Wednesday, March 25, at 7:30pm, to benefit Columbia Memorial Health Foundation's rehabilitation services.

The first edition of 'On the Verge,' a new, monthly emerging local artists showcase features Hudson's own neo-soul vocalist and hip-hop artist Kulton the Maker, dynamic singer-songwriter Brad Berk, from Catskill, and the 'Get on the Dance Floor' hot performance of soul singer Donyasia from Albany N.Y., on Friday, March 13, at 8pm.

Cabaret-rock singer-songwriter Nellie McKay brings her uniquely eccentric blend of pop, rock, jazz and hip-hop to Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, March 8, at 8pm.

Award-winning vocalist Alexis P. Suter brings her hearty mix of blues, gospel, and blues-rock, along with her smoking-hot band, to Club Helsinki Hudson on Saturday, March 14, at 9pm. Suter is especially known for her extraordinary bass/baritone voice; she includes Ruth Brown, Barry White, and B.B. King as her greatest influences.

Blues-folk singer-songwriter Chris Smither returns to Club Helsinki Hudson on Friday, May 8, at 9pm, to perform his impassioned blend of original and classic blues-influenced American roots music.

Eilen Jewell, self-styled 'queen of the minor key,' brings her blend of noirish rockabilly, surf-tinged country, retro-rock and jazzy folk to Club Helsinki Hudson on Friday, April 17, at 9pm. Jewell will be playing old favorites and songs from last year's terrific album, 'Gypsy.'

Seattle-based country-rock outfit Western Centuries will bring its Americana sounds to Club Helsinki Hudson on Friday, April 3, at 9pm. The group boasts a refreshing sound that draws as easily from modern R&B as it does George Jones. The concert coincides with the release of the group's newest album, 'Call the Captain.'

Psychic medium Deborah Hanlon, who specializes in connecting people with loved ones who have passed on, will be at Club Helsinki Hudson on Thursday, March 26, at 7pm. Hanlon was named Favorite Psychic Medium in About.com's Reader's Choice Awards in 2012.
