Hans will be playing the role of Carl Bruner in the Atlantis Production of Ghost Manila this April 25 to May 11.

Hans was last seen on stage early this 2014 in the gripping Dark Comedy/Drama August Osage County by Repertory Philippines in the role of Steve Heidebrecht, under the direction of Chris Millado.

In 2013 Hans has joined Atlantis Productions, opening its 2013 season in the production of Pam Gems’ Piaf, as the boxer Marcel Cerdan.
This was followed by the production of The Full Monty where he played the role of the stripper Buddy ‘Keno’ Walsh. He then joined the repeat run of the smash hit Rock of Ages playing the ensemble role of The Mayor/Joey Preemo. Ending the year with the musical production of The Addams Family as the Conquistador Addams Ancestor.

Other Career Highlights include playing the role of “Leading Man” in 2013’s hit Virgin Labfest 9 entry “Kung paano ako naging Leading Lady” written by Carlo Vergara and directed by Chris Martinez.

A Professional stage actor since 2005, Hans Eckstein debuted on stage with Repertory Philippines, in the production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew.

As a company member with Repertory Philippines, his stage credits include, The Sound of Music, Gaybirds (La cage aux folles adaptation), Loves Labors Lost, Fiddler on the Roof, Hamlet, A Christmas Carol (The Alan Menken Version), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Peter Pan, Leading Ladies, Jekyll and Hyde, and Disney’s Camp Rock.

His additional stage credits for Repertory Children’s Theater (RCT) since 2007; Disney’s Cinderella, Disney’s Mulan Jr., Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Seussical, and The Wizard of Oz.

Hans was nominated for “Male Lead Performance in a play” in the 2011 Gawad Buhay Awards for the Repertory production of Shakespeare in Hollywood in the role of Oberon, under the direction of Jaime Del Mundo.

When not on stage, Hans is a professional voice talent for various media advertisements and is the current voice talent for National Geographic Philippines under Fox Productions.

Repertory Philippines Releases Production Photos of THE GREAT CHRISTMAS COOKIE BAKE OFF!

Premier theater company Repertory Philippines (REP) has released a few snapshots of 'The Great Christmas Cookie Bake Off!' Staged and filmed for several days by REP’s children’s theater division, REP Theatre for Young Audiences (RTYA), 'The Great Christmas Cookie Bake Off!' will stream on Broadway On Demand for one month, November 12-December 12, 2021. This marks RTYA’s return to the stage—although virtual—since the first major lockdown in the metro early last year.
